These tips may help you cope with stress:

  • Keep a gratitude journal, and note something you are grateful for each day.

  • Schedule “me time” daily.

  • Accept that there are events that you cannot control.

  • Attempt being assertive rather than aggressive. 

  • Adopt effective relaxation habits such as meditation, yoga, or tai-chi.

  • Take steps to improve physical health. (Exercise, diet, or sleeping habits.)

  • Manage time more effectively.

  • Learn how to say no to stressors.

  • Make time for hobbies, interests, friends, and relaxation.

  • Seek treatment with a psychologist or other mental health professional trained in stress management.

We are always looking for new members and we are open to any youth in grades 8-12!  We also welcome adult participation and assistance.

 

Meetings are primarily virtual at this time, but we do occasionally get out (safely) in public to share our message.

There is no cost to be a member and SO much benefit:

Develop leadership skills
